GLPA Video: 1994 Annular Eclipse

Program Description:

The May 10, 1994 Annular Eclipse of the Sun is filmed by Dan Pon (brother of Jenny Pon, Abrams Planetarium) from East Lansing, Michigan, near the path of totality. This DVD is captured from a VHS videotape and includes three sections: 1) an initial CNN report on the eclipse, 2) footage of observing activities in East Lansing, Michigan (including Bailey’s Beads) and 3) various new reports, both local and national, of this event.
