Annual GLPA Conference
2012 GLPA Conference
The next GLPA conference will take place in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania from October 24-27, 2012. More information will be posted here soon! We hope you can join us!
Call for Workshops: (deadline May 28th)
Registration materials are targeted to go out in early June. At this time, we are asking potential workshop presenters to contact us. Workshops involve conference delegates by creating something, either physical or conceptual, that will benefit them at their home facilities. Workshops are not to be used to make sales presentations. Workshops can be presented for 45 minutes or 1 ½ hours. Workshops will be taken..."first come, first served." We will accept as many as possible, based on how much conference time is available.
If you are interested in presenting a workshop at our fall conference, please download, complete and email the following form to Dave DeRemer (dderemer@waukesha.k12.wi.us) by May 28th:

If you have any questions about eligibility, please call Dave at (262) 896-8423.
COMMERCIAL WORKSHOPS
Vendors may submit workshop proposals that utilize the products or services they sell. These will be labeled as “Commercial Workshops.” This designation only signifies that participants may be given a sales pitch during the workshop. There is no charge to the vendor to do this workshop, but just like any other workshop, acceptance is not guaranteed and depends on available space and the required set up. The Conference Host & Development Chair will make this decision.
Previous GLPA Conference
October 19-22, 2011
The 2011 conference was hosted by the William M. Staerkel Planetarium at Parkland College, in Champaign, Illinois.
Special thanks to the Staerkel staff and our sponsors for the wonderful conference!
