GLPA Membership
The Great Lakes Planetarium Association offers membership to all individuals in any way connected with the operation of planetariums regardless of geographic location. GLPA is an affiliate of the International Planetarium Society (IPS) and the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA).
Our membership includes well over 200 people from over 30 states, and at least 4 countries. They work in public and private schools, universities, museums, public planetaria, related businesses, retired, and more. Most of our members work in permanent planetariums, but GLPA includes a strong contingent of portables as well. Over half of our members are also members of IPS.
