GLPA Show Kit: Once in a Blue Moon

Program Description:

Why does the Moon seem to follow you? Why can you see it in the daytime? What causes the different shapes of the Moon? And of course, what's a blue Moon? Find the answer to all these lunar questions in this great show. Target audience grades 1-4.

Credits:  This show kit was produced and donated by the former Minneapolis Planetarium, and digitized by the staff and students of the Southwest Minnesota State University Planetarium.

Technical Description:

This show kit includes 288 scanned slides (some clean-up may be required), the soundtrack as a WAV file, and the script, on two DVD-ROMs. Show length is 39 minutes. The kit does not include video clips that may be suggested in the script. Total of digital files = 5.6 GB.

Cost:

This program is available as a digital package on DVD-ROM disks only.  Price:  $25   (Non-members add the 10% fee.)
