Tips for Keeping Your Planetarium Open

In these difficult economic times, planetariums are often facing closure. Are you doing everything you can to reduce the chance that your planetarium will be closed? GLPA wants to help! We're making our Tips Booklet on this subject, titled TIPS For Keeping Your Planetarium Open, available to all for free. We hope you can find it to be helpful.

Electronic Mail Lists (Listservs)

Two lists may be of particular interest to GLPA members. Both are moderated to contain only material of interest to planetarium professionals.

GLPA recently started its own website-based GLPA Forum for planetarium-related discussions. Members can access this by visiting www.glpaweb.org/forum.

Dome-L is a worldwide list maintained by Rovy Branon. To subscribe go to: http://groups.google.com/group/dome-l. Click "Sign in and apply for membership" and fill in the form. Once subscribed you may send postings to dome-l@googlegroups.com.

Nomination Forms

The following links have information about each award, and a nomination form you can print, complete, and submit. The PDF files below require a free PDF reader such as Adobe Acrobat Reader.
