The Great Lakes Planetarium Association meets annually to share information, skills, techniques, and strategies. The formal manifestation of this collaboration takes place as "Paper Sessions" in which a planetarian orally presents his/her contribution to the membership. A written version of the presentation is also contributed and later distributed to the membership in the Conference Proceedings. The Proceedings include Invited Papers, Contributed Papers, Posters, and Workshops.
Past proceedings and papers are available to all members on a cost recovery basis. As of the shipping of the 2004 Proceedings CD, all current members now have an archive of all these past proceedings. In the pages below, you will find the Title, Author, Year, and Abstract of each contribution. You can simply browse through the pages listed below, or search our web site using the form below.

New! GLPA members can now request individual proceedings for FREE in PDF form. They are available from 1989 to present. Contact Geoff Holt via email and specify the article or entire proceeding you wish to acquire. (Special thanks to Wade Kemp and Dale Smith for their efforts!)
These papers can also be obtained by members in printed format by sending the completed order form and check to Geoff Holt. The cost is 10 cents/page for copying; postage and handling is $1.50 for orders from 1 to 25 pages, $2.00 for 26-50 pages, and add 50 cents for each additional 50 pages or fraction thereof. As specified on the order form, checks are to be made out to GLPA. (Contact Geoff Holt via email to inquire about the number of pages you will be requesting.)
New! Recent Proceedings and conference photos have been distributed to the membership on CD-ROM. As of the shipping of the 2004 Proceedings CD, all current members now have an archive of all these past proceedings as a membership benefit for free. These CDs are now available to new members for $3 (includes postage and handling). If you are not a GLPA member, you can still order the latest Proceedings CD for $3 but you'll need to add the 10% non-member fee. Order through the On-Line Store, or using the order form.
